The Clean Kilgore Coalition is a group of ranchers, outdoor recreationists, families, and conservationists committed to protecting eastern Idaho’s waters, lands, and way of life. The coalition has been working to protect the western Centennial Mountains outside of Kilgore from toxic cyanide gold mining through grassroots advocacy and legal action. 

The Coalition’s founding members, the Greater Yellowstone Coalition and Idaho Conservation League, began fighting the Kilgore Gold Project in 2019 before officially organizing under the Coalition in 2021.
